Tuition:

Tuition will be due on the 1st of every month. To complete enrollment at Griselda’s Daycare, tuition must be paid up in advance and in full in order to reserve and maintain your child’s spot. In the event that you decide to withdraw your application, only 50% of the initial tuition payment will be reimbursed. In case the tuition payment is received late, there will be a $50 late fee assessed; if tuition payment is late by 2 weeks or more, we reserve the right to cancel child’s enrollment and spot will not be held. There is an additional $35 fee for returned checks.

Holidays:

Griselda’s Daycare will be closed on the following observed holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas’s Eve (December 24th), Christmas’s Day (December 25th) and New Year’s Eve (December 31st).

Vacation:

Griselda’s Daycare will be closed each year for a Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break. A reminder notice with the specific vacation dates will be given prior to each break period. When a child is on vacation, your advance notice is expected, and full payment of tuition is still required.

Payment During Child Absences and Attendance:

If you plan on keeping your child out of Daycare for longer than 1 week, tuition must be paid up front for the remaining of the vacation period in order to hold your child’s spot.

Food:

Griselda’s Daycare may participate in a daycare food program and offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks. If your child has any food allergies or other special dietary needs, please let us know. If you are breastfeeding your child, please let us know what kind of accommodations we can make to meet any needs.

Supplies:

Parents are responsible for supplying diapers, wipes, and creams for your child at the time of registration and when your child needs it.

Illness:

In compliance with applicable Health Department Requirements, children will not be admitted to the center when ill with a fever, vomiting, runny nose, or diarrhea. You will be asked to take a sick child home. This policy will be strictly enforced to prevent the spread of infection. We reserve the right to determine whether a child is too ill to attend.

Termination:

Thirty days prior notice must be given for termination of services for both daycare provider and parent. If services are terminated by parent or provider, payment for services shall be due and payable through termination date even if the child is absent.
